New Products Added to JBL's EON G2 Powered Speaker Line
 March 12, 2001The second generation of JBL Professional EON Speakers, the best selling powered speaker in pro audio history, is now complete with a 10" powered speaker, a subwoofer, and two complete sound reinforcement systems. The Orlando NSCA Show is the Contractor Market's first exposure to the new EON products, which include the new EON10 G2 compact powered speaker, EONSUB G2 powered subwoofer, and EON G2 Systems featuring the EON15 G2 and EON10 G2 powered speakers as well as new, improved mixers.
The EON10 G2 has the same appearance improvements as its larger companion, EON15 G2, including new black co-polymer enclosure and a built-in mini-mixer with three inputs. The EON10 G2 also features increased power with 125 watts for low frequencies and 50 watts for the highs. The EON10 G2 has a US suggested retail price of $599.
A perfect companion for the EON10 G2 is the new EONSUB G2 powered subwoofer. Consistent in design with other EON G2 models, the EONSUB G2, with its 15" transducer, has 250 watts of power, JBL's patented Neodymium Differential Drive(r) woofer design and Thermomaster(r) cooling system, and a new low price of $799 (US suggested retail), which is nearly 20% less than its predecessor. The EONSUB G2 was specifically designed to accommodate stacking of the EON10 G2 using receptacles built into the top of the SUB.
The EON15 G2 System is a complete 16 input, 800 watt sound system including the new MusicMix 16 mixer, two EON15 G2 speakers, two JBL M50S microphones and four cables for connecting the mixer to the microphones and speakers. $2499 is the US suggested retail price.
The EON10 G2 system with 350 total watts of power and 14 inputs includes the new MusicMix 14 mixer, a pair of EON10 G2 speakers and the same microphone and cable package supplied with the EON15 G2 system. The EON10 G2 System's US suggested retail price is $1899.
