Waves Releases Renaissance Bass Software Processor
March 9, 2001WAVES LTD., a
supplier of audio signal processing solutions for the
professional audio and multimedia markets, today announced the
release of the Renaissance Bass software Audio PlugIn for the
Macintosh Digidesign TDM and Macintosh Native platforms. The
Renaissance Bass technology is the 2nd-generation development from
the patented MaxxBass algorithm, and uses the psychoacoustic
properties of the hearing mechanism to increase perceived bass.
Waves developed this technology to allow audio engineers to
selectively add harmonics which significantly enhance the bass
perception by the listener, and most importantly, beyond the range of
the speaker's conventional frequency response.
Renaissance Bass takes the MaxxBass algorithm to greater
effectiveness and simpler operation. The process has been refined and
is even more effective than the original processor. In addition, a
simplified user interface helps achieve top-quality sound with quick
adjustment, whether in post, mixing mastering, or multimedia.
Renaissance Bass software PlugIn is now available at Waves dealers
worldwide on all supported Waves Macintosh platforms. Windows
support to follow soon. For more information, visit their web site at www.waves.com. |
