RT Player, a stand-alone application (for PC/Mac), is an easy-to-use host application for VST instruments or chaining VST plug-ins, which allows control of all chained VST plug-in parameters from any MIDI controller. RT Player has an ASIO-compatible in/out interface, which means that PCI audio cards, USB audio interfaces and FireWire audio interfaces with low latency ASIO drivers (less than 10 ms) can be used for realtime performance (on stage or in the studio). You can select which plugins you want use in the effects chain (max. 99 plug-ins dependant on CPU). By pressing the Edit button, you can edit the parameters of each individual plug-in. You can also control the parameters of plug-ins from an external MIDI controller. With StompnFX plug-ins in particular, it is a very effective with a MIDI foot controller. Projected release date of RT Player April 2001 RT Player specification:
