M-Audio Announces AudioSport Quattro

The AudioSport Quattro is a new USB audio interface for Mac and PC, with 4 inputs and outputs, at up to 24Bit/96kHz. MIDI input/output is also provided.

The input and output levels can be switched between +4dB and -10dB levels of operation to better interface with all your outboard gear. The AudioSport Quattro also features latency-free direct monitoring for each stereo pair. Should you need additional I/O, the Quattro can also be connected to M-Audio's Omni I/O for additional inputs, outputs, and effects sends.

Specs:

  • Four 1/4" TRS audio inputs, switchable between +4dB and -10dB.
  • Four 1/4" TRS audio outputs, switchable between +4dB and -10dB.
  • DB15 audio connector for the direct link with M-Audio's Omni I/O.
  • MIDI input/output (16 channels).
  • Direct monitoring for each stereo pair (Inputs 1+2 to outputs 1+2, inputs 3+4 to Out 3+4).
  • Sound manager and ASIO driver for Macintosh starting from MacOS 8.6
  • MME and ASIO driver Windows 95/98/ME.
  • Audio Resolutions: 16, 20 and 24Bit digital audio with 44.1, 48 or 96kHz in the following combinations:
    • 2 inputs, 2 outputs: 24-Bit/96kHz
    • 4 inputs, 2 outputs: 24-Bit/44.1kHz
    • 2 inputs, 4 outputs: 24-Bit/44.1kHz
    • 4 inputs, 4 outputs: 16-Bit/44.1kHz
    • 4 inputs: 24-Bit/48kHz
    • 4 outputs: 24-Bit/48kHz
