Steinberg's New Series Of Pocket Fuel Audio Content CDs

Steinberg Media Technologies AG announces the RADS (Rhythmic Architectural
Drum Loops) MultiTrack Drum Loops audio CD collection. The three CDs from the
Pocket Fuel series offer music producers extraordinary rhythm material in a handy
format.
The acoustic drum sounds were recorded in a live room environment using very
live drums. Rex files give full control over the tempo (+- 15 BPM at least), quantization,
groove and mix - without time stretching and any loss in sound quality. Rex-files
can be imported into Nuendo and the Cubase VST host applications.
- MultiTrack Drum Loops
The grooves on this CD were performed by Sammy Merendino - one of the industries
busiest session drummers. The sound Library contains audio files in three different
file formats (WAV, AIF, REX) recorded at three different tempos (90 BPM, 100 BPM,
110 BPM). The sound files themselves are organized in a hierarchical directory
system arranged by SONG. Each SONG folder contains sub folders organizing the
loops into categories of VERSE, CHORUS, INTROS, and FILLS. Each sub folder provides
the multi track loops comprised of a primary Kick drum channel, a snare drum channel,
a stereo pair of overhead channels a room channel and a channel called MIX containing
the previous five loops "comped" into a single mono file - perfect for
auditioning.
- RADS Acoustic HipHop Drum Loops
Inspired by some of today's hottest HipHop and R&B recordings the grooves
on RADS Acoustic HipHop Drum Loops were recorded using the finest audio equipment
available. Considering that most of today's traditional HipHop rhythms are machine
and sequencer based, an acoustic HipHop library featuring a "human"
drummer will definitely add a fresh feel to the genre. The layout of the CD is
quite simple - each directory contains a group of loops that work together both
sonically and musically - feel free to experiment.
- RADS Techno Rhythms and Loops
Techno Rhythms and Loops contains hundreds of great sounding electronic and acoustic
drum grooves, fills, intros and outs all in REX, AIF and WAV file formats. Simply
audition the files and import them into your favorite sample editing application
or sampler. These machine grooves were programmed on a variety of different drum-machines,
samplers and keyboards. Some of these loops have been mixed with acoustic drums
to create interesting textures.
