Edirol announced their HyperCanvas HQ (High Quality) Software Synthesizer is now shipping.
HyperCanvas provides a variety of sounds for music composition and includes Cakewalk's Music Creator, a basic DXi host application.
This synthesizer plug-in works with both VST and DXi host applications and complies with General MIDI 2 standards for reliable playback. Easy operation composing tool offers real-time performance, friendly user interface and powerful control panels.
Features include; 9 drums sets -- with 3 user-defined sets, 256 instruments -- with 256 user-defined tones, 16 part multi-instrument playback, 128 voice polyphony, chorus and reverb effects all at 24 bit/ 96 kHz quality. The package also includes and a full array of customizable editing parameters. Create any music supported by the instruments in the general MIDI sound set. Included are several original compositions that teach productive creation techniques.
