Edirol Announces UA-3D Digital Audio Capture with 5.1 Surround

Edirol announced the UA-3D USB portable digital audio capture device with 5.1 Surround Sound optical output. It joins the extensive line of digital audio capture devices introduced at Summer NAMM 2001 in Nashville.
This palm sized unit works with the wide variety of digital audio recording software available. Use it to record clean audio to USB equipped laptop or desktop PC. The UA-3D allows 5.1 DTS or Dolby Digital Surround Sound throughput. Use it to transfer 5.1 digital data from your computer via USB to an outboard decoder for a full theater-style listening experience. Easy connection with USB cable provides power and computer interface with no need for batteries or power adapter.
Ships with WinDVD and Cool Edit LE for audio recording and editing.
