WK1 Added to Generalmusic's Oriental Line

Dedicated to the Oriental markets, the Oriental version of GEM's successful WK1 offers 466 PCM sounds, including 17 drumkits, 16 oriental sounds (kanoun, aoud, cawala,etc.) to suit just any kind of Oriental music. The Arabic scale keyboard and the 3 Arabic scale memories, together with the 40 Arabian and 16 Ethnic styles render this instrument particularly adapt to the skills and characteristics of Oriental music.

16-part multitimbral, with 32 note polyphony, programmable split and ability to layer sounds together, the WK1 Oriental gives the musician the opportunity to create rich sound textures. The WK1 Oriental contains 2 independent digital effects processors with 22 reverbs and 22' effects, with separate send levels for each track.

The arranger section of the WK1 Oriental contains 9'6 new styles with 4 variations each - made up of 5 tracks plus 8 user-programmable styles. The musician can also memorize any configuration of sounds, styles, effects in 63 realtime performances that can be instantly recalled whenever needed.

The WK1 Oriental is equipped with a practical sequencer for the recording of up to 7 :song styles. The sequencer is compatible with the widespread standard MIDI files. The useful built-'in disk drive saves performances on floppy disks to create an unlimited library. A wide, backlit display guarantees good visibility to any lyrics. The internal 6W+ 6W stereo amplification system gives perfect voice to the WK1 Oriental's array of instrumental sounds.
