"HALionized" Sound Libraries from Steinberg and Wizoo

Steinberg and Wizoo present the first four titles of a new CD-ROM series called "HALionized". This is a factory
library for Steinberg's software sampler HALion, focusing on creative, professional sound material for modern musicians.
"Techno Guitars" combines guitar, synths, processing, and cutting-edge music by electronic music guru Craig Anderton into a double-CD set that
is truly groundbreaking. It offers guitar-like sounds as well as synthetic, highly processed material while retaining the guitar's organic "vibe".
Power chords and expressive leads meet a variety of effects such as slides, squeaks, reverb oceans or "vocoded" chords, featuring rhythmic
qualities perfectly suited to modern dance and hip-hop styles.

"Latin Percussion" is the HALion version of Wizoo's successful, similarly named Platinum24 title. It features all the percussion one could ever wish
for and more. It features congas, bongos, timbales, shakers, maracas, cabasa, tambourine, triangle, cymbals and exotica such as caxixi,
pandeiro or surdo. The samples are played by pro percussionists and recorded in premium Wizoo quality offering up to 20 velocities and
variations each.
"mixTended", based on material produced by the Simon Phillips co-owned company Bitbeats, is a new kind of drum library offering enhanced
mixing options. It features 5 huge, professional drum kits, each in three flavors: dry kit (instruments mapped to individual HALion outputs),
overhead kit and room kit. Combining drum sounds with their natural room while placing and mixing instruments individually is easy thanks to
HALion's multi-timbral functionality. MixTended combines drum kits, natural rooms and total flexibility.
