Edirol introduced their SuperQuartet HQ (High Quality) Software Synthesizer, which is now shipping.

SuperQuartet provides 4 fundamental acoustic instruments, a variety of piano, guitar, bass and drum sets. This synthesizer plug-in works with both VST and DXi host applications and Cakewalk's Music Creator, an included basic DXi host application. Easy operation composing tool offers real-time performance, friendly user interface and powerful control panels.

Features include 3 drums sets - expandable to 128, 67 instruments - expandable to 384, 16 part multi-instrument playback, 128 voice polyphony, chorus and reverb effects, 24 bit/ 96 kHz processing performance and a full array of customizable editing parameters.

SuperQuartet is Windows and Mac compatible with both ASIO 2.0 and DXi standards. MSRP $249. Now shipping.
