Hammered Shell Snares from Mapex

The carefully hammered shell of the Mapex's new snare drums results in an unevenly walled acoustic chamber, much like the multi-surfaced walls of fine recording studios. This results in reduced ringing harmonicas and standing tones that baffle sound engineers.

The specific Brass, Stainless steel, or Phosphor Bronze timbre is more focused, without sacrificing dynamic range or the unique characteristics of each shell's composition.
