TerraTec Electronic is offering a professional preamplifier/converter in time for the music fair in Frankfurt. The EWS MIC 8 audio system features eight symmetrical line and microphone inputs and eight symmetrical outputs. What is more, the AudioSystem includes a 48V phantom powering and an impact sound filter on each channel. ADAT interface, EWS88 Mark 2 PCI, 24-bit S/PDIF and free routing of all sources complete the performance features. The new EWS MIC8 AudioSystem offers a variety of additional technical treats. The 8-channel analog preamp based on the popular ChannelOne/GoldMike series was developed in close cooperation with SPL (SoundPerformanceLab). Besides direct operation via TerraTec EWS88 Mark 2 PCI card, the EWS MIC8 AudioSystem can also be used as a stand-alone system. To name only a few of its functions as examples: a high-quality microphone preamplifier and/or as 24-bit/96-kHz AD/DA converter in connection with ADAT devices or cards. Based on the MIC8 19" module, the AudioSystem EWS MIC2 offers all of the features of its "big sister," but with two independent microphone preamps instead of 8. Keyfeatures MIC8/MIC2
