Behringer Debuts First Lighting Product at Musikmesse

Behringer announces with the EUROLIGHT LC2412 (USD 239.99 MSRP), their first Lighting Product, and the first of many more to come. The 24-Channel DMX lighting console offers: assignable channels, programming presets, 120 scenes, integrated chaser with up to 650 steps and sync-to-bass beat, and the ability to save everything to a PCMCIA memory card. The LC2412 is available now.
The EUROLIGHT LC2412 is not only compatible with the DMX512 control protocol, but also delivers analog (0-10 V) output control. Presets can be set up to control 24 lights on each channel assignable to 512 DMX channels, while memory presets can be individually recalled and stored in ten separate preset banks and archived by using a PCMCIA memory card. Accessing 120 storable lighting configurations allows a virtually unlimited archive of lighting setups in combination with interchangeable memory cards. Yet another resourceful tool for designing lighting sequences are chases. Fade-in speed, chase sequence speed and the chase's control via the built-in beat generator can all be programmed. Cross-fading in between individual steps of a single chase, manually or automated, is a breeze and can make for some unusually complex lighting sequences. The EUROLIGHT LC2412 has a preview function that makes viewing memory presets or chases without the lighting sequence being visible on stage possible. It also has a sound-to-light function that allows the music to drive the light show by way of the built-in beat generator. Last but not least, the LC2412 can be controlled via MIDI. A MIDI interface enables cascading of two LC2412s.
