Behringer, manufacturer of the V-AMP 2, announced today the release of its first modeling guitar combo--the all-new V-AMPIRE LX1-112 (USD 399.99 MSRP).The 2 x 50 Watt combo with 12" Jensen speaker, 32 authentic amp models, 15 speaker cabinet simulations and 24-bit multi-effects processor is a guitarist's ultra-flexible workhorse with ample power for live gigs. It offers effects and a plethora of available tones at any desired volume while combining the Behringer's amp modeling technology with the flexibility and power of a classic guitar amplifier.

At the V-AMPIRE's heart and soul is its collection of amp and cabinet models--resulting from Behringer's study of modern and vintage amplifiers and cabinets. THE V-AMPIRE features 32 amp models based on further improvements and refinement of the V-AMP 2 modeling technology.

Additionally, the V-AMPIRE features 16 effect models, including analog delays, compressor, wah-wah, reverb, flanger and rotary speakers, among others. The 15 speaker cabinet models can be mixed and matched with any of the amp models and effects. Intuitive rotary controls with dedicated LED indicators make operation easy and simple. The balanced stereo XLR DI OUT with ground lift and Behringer's new switchable ULTRA-G speaker simulation facilitates direct recording or feeding live sound to a P.A., while 15 rear panel connectors allow comprehensive routing for any application plus full MIDI compatibility. A free Windows editor is downloadable from the internet.

The V-AMPIRE will be available in Q3 2003.
