| Laney Announces the New Generation Richter Bass Amps
March 10, 2003Laney first launched the Richter series of bass amps back in 1998 and now they are continuing to expand the series with the 'R' line which ranges from a compact combo all the way up to a full bass stack.
The R1 is the smallest combo in the range with 65 Watts and a 10" speaker. Moving up, Laney has the R2 with 120 Watts and 12" speaker. The R3 and R4 will be offered in both combo and head formats with 165 and 300 Watts respectively. Rounding out the family is the 2x10 R5 with 300 Watts of power. Laney will also be producing a pair of 8 Ohm cabinets in 1x15 and 4x10 configurations.
