At Musikmesse, Laney launched their new TFX series of guitar amps, combining the company's Tube Fusion technology with their new X-Factor digital effects. A total of three combos have been announced, with the low-end TFX1 featuring a 10" speaker and 50 Watts of power, and the TFX2/TFX3 pumping 65 and 120 Watts of power respectively through a 12" speaker plus an ECC83 preamp tube.

All three models feature built-in digital effects, though the capabilities vary significantly. The TFX1 allows the selection of a single effect program, but with separate level controls for the clean and drive channels. The TFX2 adds independent effects program selection for the clean and drive channels on top of the separate level controls. The TFX3 is the most flexible of all the models with the same independent controls for clean and drive channels as the TFX2, but adding the ability to adjust the time/rate parameter of the selected effects programs.
