New from VHT, the 2U rack mount Valvulator GP3 emulates the characteristics
of a cranked-up, low powered amplifier. Employing five selected 12AX7
preamp tubes in the gain and tone shaping stages plus another in the low
impedance, low power output stage, the Valvulator GP3 features three fully
independent channels, each with a separate set of tone controls.
Other
features include 6-band graphic EQ, low level pedal FX loop/auxiliary/tuner
send, cabinet simulator/recording output, amp/live output, 1/4 inch phone
and balanced XLR outputs, remote device switching and MIDI control of
channel switching. In addition, the Valvulator GP3 incorporates MIDI
controlled global function switches for assigning FX loop, bright, edge,
fat, boost and EQ to any desired channel.
A stacked, grained aluminium
front panel set complements the matching machined knobs.
