Version 6 of Virus C Series Operating System Announced

March 07, 2003

Access Music is about to release a new operation system for the Virus C series of synthesizers, adding a number of new features.

Among the new additions in this software update are 24 new arpeggiator patterns, control panel shortcuts allowing quick access to paramters, and Access' "PureTuning" system. "PureTuning" is an adaptive tuning technology based on Hermode Tuning. PureTuning analyzes and corrects chords in realtime and retunes the individual notes so a perfect tuning is achieved. Christoph Kemper, CEO of Access Music says: "Especially distorted sounds with such energy and clarity are simply out of reach for equal temperament instruments."

OS6 will be available as a free download shortly after Frankfurt Music Show.
