Roland announced the Cube-30 Bass amplifier at this year's Musikmesse. This little amp uses a 30-watt/10-inch speaker design to deliver powerful bass tones while remaining surprisingly compact. Six COSM bass amp models deliver a range of tones including an octave bass sound, while five onboard DSP effects, convenient 3-band EQ and compression–plus a unique Shape switch–let players dial in their tone. Thanks to Roland's COSM technology, the Cube-30 Bass can model six of the most popular bass amps–like "Bass360," "Concert 810," "Flip Top," "B Man" and more. There's even an "Octave Bass" setting which adds a tone one octave below the original note for truly earth-shaking sound. Onboard DSP effects let players plug in their bass without complicated setups. The Cube-30 Bass includes everything bassists need: reverb and delay, plus essentials like chorus and flanger. There's even a T-Wah effect for creating a sweeping filtered sound–great for funk bass. With a 1/4-inch Recording/Headphones output, players can connect directly to a mixing console or to a pair of headphones. A dedicated Shape switch makes it easy to instantly change the bass tone. Other connections to the Cube-30 Bass include a 1/4-inch Bass input, a 1/4-inch Auxiliary input, and a Footswitch jack. For more information, visit their web site at http://www.rolandus.com/.
