Coming in May, musicians will be able to get Sennheiser's evolution sound at the most affordable prices ever. The three new models, the e 815 S, e 816 S and e 817, are all vocal microphones.. "Our new microphones will impress with their good quality and low price," says Michael Polten, Sennheiser's manager for the Music Industry. "As we are offering three variants, every customer will get the right microphone for their requirements." The three cardioid models are available with XLR-XLR cable, XLR-jack cable or microphone clamp. The e 815 S with noiseless, lockable on/off switch is designed for vocal or speech applications. The e 816 S, also with noiseless on/off switch, features a high output, enabling it to cut through the mix, even at high stage levels. The e 817 has a very balanced frequency response. Designed to perform under pressure, this model is optimal as a lead vocalist microphone. For more information, visit their web site at http://www.sennheiser.com/.
