At Musikmesse 2004, Behringer launched the UltraBass cabinet series (price tba.), comprised of four cabinets with aluminum cone loudspeakers (BA "Hard Attack" Series) and four cabinets with paper cone speakers (BB "Classic Tone" Series.) The UltraBass cabinets will ship in the third quarter 2004.
The "Hard Attack" aluminum cone speakers in the UltraBass BA Series provide fast response and definition. The BA Series includes the BA115 (600 Watts, 1 x 15" alu speaker and 1" tweeter), the BA210 (500 Watts, 2 x 10" alu speakers and 1" tweeter), the BA410 (1000 Watts, 4 x 10" alu speakers and 1" tweeter) and the BA810 (2000 Watts, 8 x 10" alu speakers and 1" tweeter).
The "Classic Tone" paper cone loudspeakers in the UltraBass BB Series deliver the impact and warmth associated with the paper cone design. The BB Series includes the BB115 (600 Watts, 1 x 15" speaker and 1" tweeter), the BB210 (500 Watts, 2 x 10" speakers and 1" tweeter), the BB410 (1000 Watts, 4 x 10" speakers and 1" tweeter) and the BB810 (2000 Watts, 8 x 10" speakers and 1" tweeter).
All UltraBass cabinets feature a reinforced-chamber, front-ported design plus a switchable 1" custom-made horn tweeter for high-end punch on demand, remotely switchable via footswitch or MIDI. Input and link outputs on 1/4" TS and standard connectors compatible to Neutrik Speakon series are provided. Non-protruding oversize carrying handles are flush with the cabinet surface, and together with the integrated casters assure easy transportation in all situations. Reinforced metal corners are found on every UltraBass cabinet.
