M-Audio introduced the Studiophile DX4 amplified monitors. Forged from the same sleek design and technology as the larger Studiophile monitors, these dual-driver speakers provide audio to enhance any existing computer system.
The DX4s feature 18 watts of power per channel with 4" polypropylene low-frequency drivers and 1" mylar tweeters. The DX4s' fully shielded design facilitates a variety of placement options--even right up against the computer monitor--easily accommodating any desktop setup.
The back of the DX4s feature both RCA and 1/4" inputs as well as a mid-cut switch. The front panel hosts a convenient rotary volume control, plus a handy 1/8" headphone jack. The speakers are automatically muted when headphones are inserted, allowing late-night gaming marathons or easy vocal takes without feedback.
The Studiophile DX4s will ship in April 2004 at an MSRP of $199.95.
