Electro-Voice Debuts ZX5 Series Enclosures

The brand-new, six-model series of ZX5 fifteen-inch, two-way speaker systems from Electro-Voice made their debuts at the 2004 Musikmesse show.

The newly designed plastic enclosures are lightweight but at the same time robust, housing and protecting the new DVX-3150 (15") and ND2 (2" neodymium) drivers, which boast maximum power handling of 2400 watts and can deliver up to 133 dB SPL.

ZX5 features:

  • Full-range 15-inch, 2-way loudspeaker with an integrated passive crossover
  • Frequency range: 52 Hz – 16 kHz ( 3dB)
  • Power handling: 600 watts sustained / 2400 watts peak
  • Maximum SPL: 132 dB
  • Series comprises 6 models: 60 x 60 or 90 x 50 in either a black , a white or a black weatherproof enclosure
  • Integral stand adapter
  • Integrated feet allow adjustment of monitor angle (45 / 55 )
  • Ten integrated mounting points for the 3 supplied Ancra fittings or installation using optional system accessories
  • Weight: 22.5 kg (49.6 lbs)
