Bluesman Forty Tube Combos from George Dennis

New from George Dennis is the Bluesman Forty, an all-tube combo available 1x12 and 2x12 formats, offering a sound similar to a classic Marshall Plexi but with a switchable "More Gain" option. The Bluesman Forty offers a parallel effects loop that can be switched in and out via the included footswitch, complete with send and return level controls. The footswitch gives you a "More Gain" option when the effects loop is not in use and lets you enable the Accutronics reverb at will. The amp also offers a choice of tube or solid state rectifiers. The 40 Watt combo is powered by a quartet of EL 84 power tubes while the preamp is based on three ECC 83 tubes. The tube rectifier used a GZ 34. The 1x12 configuration uses a Jensen P12N alnico speaker, while the 2x12 combo features Celestion Greenbacks. For more information, visit their web site at http://www.george-dennis.cz/.
