ESI is now shipping the MaXiO XD, a 24-bit/192kHz PCI Audio/MIDI interface.
The basic MaXiO XD system consists of a 2-rack space unit, EX8000, and a PCI interface. The EX8000 front panel features 8 balanced mic preamps, XLR/TRS combo connectors with +48V DC phantom power, and 10 step LED metering lights for each channel. EX8000 also offers AES/EBU and S/PDIF digital I/O, and headphone monitoring. The PCI host interface card features four E.D.I (ESI Digital Interface) connectors, each capable of supporting one EX8000 unit, handling a total 32 channels of input and output simultaneously when fully connected.
MaXiO XD is compatible with Windows XP and Windows 2000, utilizing ESI's EWDM driver, offering low latency performance
