The Presentation Series (PS) guitars are the crown jewels of Taylor Guitars' acoustic line. Taylor is currently making the Special Run Presentation Series, for players who would like to add a unique instrument to their collections.
The PS-L2 (Hawaiian koa/Engelmann spruce) has glowing, golden koa back and sides, with the rippling "holographic" striations for which this treasured Hawaiian tonewood is revered
One can run a finger across the glossy back of a PS-L3 (grafted walnut/Engelmann spruce), and literally trace history along the dramatic "graft line" in this intriguing tonewood from Northern California
The PS-L4 (cocobolo/Engelmann spruce) features Mexican Cocobolo back and sides, with striking figure in shades of red, orange, purple, and black, and multi-hued tones to match.
And every PS-L5 (Big Leaf maple/Engelmann spruce) features the quick response, rock-steady overtones, bold flame, and luminous sheen of premium maple from the Pacific Northwest.
The Special Run Presentations Series is available in Dreadnought, Grand Concert, Grand Auditorium (6 and 12-string), and Jumbo (6 and 12-strings) body styles. Each Special Run PS features Taylor gold tuners with ebonite buttons, green heart abalone "Byzantine" fingerboard inlays, bone nut and saddle, and a Taylor deluxe hardshell case. Cutaway electric models feature Taylor's Expression System electronics.
