SM Pro Audio Introduces The TC01 And TC02 Tube Mic Preamp/DI/Optical Compressor Units

Essentials series), the new "TC01 & TC02" tube microphone preamp/DI and optical compressors are to be released
at the Musikmesse 2006 International Trade Show, held in Frankfurt am, Germany. Visitors are welcome 29.3.06 -

The TC01 & TC02 are the latest addition to the popular SM Pro Audio Red Valve (tube) series products. Perfect for
incorporating some warmth and genuine musical character into your sound, the new TC01 & TC02 Red Valve
(tube) series pres are the real deal. The TC01 is a single channel (1ch) desktop size unit, whilst the TC02 is a
stereo (2ch) unit housed in a sturdy standard 1RU rack-mountable chassis.
Featuring a microphone preamp, DI unit and optical compressor, the TC01 & TC02 are superb channel strip input
devices suitable for direct connection to your DAW recording system. They're primarily designed for miking vocal,
acoustic guitars, and pre-amplification for instrument pickups. But if the truth be known, just about everything
sounds great through them. The optical compressor with variable attack and decay give you plenty of scope to
further shape your sound. Whether you want is warmth and clean or make it pump with color, the TC01 are sure
to make it happen.
