Digital Musican Net Realtime Internet Recording Demo

TerraTec Producer, maker of professional audio I/O solutions for computers, and Digital Musician Net, the worldwide online portal for musicians, producers and recording studios, have joined forces to showcase their offerings at this year's Musikmesse at Frankfurt.

The two companies' booths will be linked via Internet and Digital Musician Net software. As part of his AXON Guitar-To-MIDI presentation, New York-based guitarist Burr Johnson will track a guitar arrangement live on the stage of the TerraTec PRODUCER booth. The signal will be recorded via Internet and the revolutionary new DML VST 1.5 plug-in to the audio workstation at Digital Musician Net's fair booth. The companies aim to transfer MIDI as well as audio data in CD quality and in real time via a standard DSL link. The two parties will communicate audio-visually via an online video conference enabled by the DML plug-in, web cams and microphones.

Fairgoers are free to visit both booths to see a live recording in real time via Internet in action.

Located just a few aisles apart in hall 5.1, the two booths are within easy walking distance of one another.
