Frankfurt Musikmesse 2007 will herald the launch of Blackstar Amplification, a new and dynamic British guitar amplification company whose uncompromising, cutting edge products will revolutionise the sounds and features that are available to guitarists.

Based in Northampton, England, Blackstar Amplifications' technological innovations are led by Technical Director Bruce Keir, a leading expert in guitar amplifier design with over 20 years experience in the field. Together with Ian Robinson, Paul Hayhoe and Richard Frost the Blackstar team have over 50 years of experience in the industry and were all previously employed by Marshall Amplification plc in the UK.

Building on the strong tradition of British guitar amplifier design, the Blackstar Amplification team has a design philosophy based on a passion for blending art and technology and for breaking conventions in order to produce outstanding new products and technologies. Their extensive experience in valve, solid-state and digital electronics design will be reflected in the ranges of technically ground-breaking products that will be introduced at the Frankfurt Musikmesse 2007.

First products to market are the HT Range of valve overdrive pedals. Five products go from pure valve boost to 'hot rod' your vintage valve amp, or the ultimate high gain valve sound available in a pedal. All Blackstar valve overdrive pedals feature true high voltage (300V) circuitry which delivers real valve tone at a price any guitarist can afford. Loaded with innovative features these products are a great addition to any players rig.

The addition of a no compromise speaker emulated output means these pedals also represent a great way of getting real valve tone to disk or tape. Among the many unique features these pedals will premiere the revolutionary, patented tone shaping feature ISF (Infinite Shape Feature) which is set to redefine the tonal expectations of guitarists.
