Alesis introduces the revolutionary SURGE electronic cymbals, delivering the convenience of an e-percussion experience with the realism of acoustic cymbals. Crafted from genuine brass alloy and dampened by a clear, proprietary vinyl layer, the SURGE electronic Piezo-based electronic cymbal triggers offer a lighting fast, crystal clear response with a remarkably realistic feel.

SURGE Cymbals are available in a 12" Single-Zone Electronic HiHat Cymbal, 13" Single-Zone Electronic Crash Cymbal (with or without choke capability), and a 16" dual-zone Ride (with or without choke capability). The 16" Dual-Zone Electronic Ride Cymbal can be used with many industry-standard drum modules but can also be used for Triple-Zone triggering applications.

Alesis SURGE cymbals are sold separately or packaged in combination packs, and are available with select Alesis drum kits, including the DM5 Pro Kit with SURGE Cymbals and the USB Pro Kit. SURGE cymbals are compatible with standard cymbal mounts and arms for convenient use with just about any drum kit.

With their true look and genuine cymbal feel, SURGE Cymbals are the perfect add-on to any electronic drum kit. SURGE Cymbals can be applied to nearly any electronic drum kit on the market today, and will be available at music retailers this spring.
