Numark today announces the latest free firmware updates for their highly successful iDJ2 and D2 Director hardware for DJs. The critically acclaimed iDJ2 and D2 Director have already won accolades from media and enthusiasts alike for introducing DJ versatility to the iPod generation. Now Numark's v1.09 software updates enhance the Numark experience even more.

- Super—fast music library search — get near-instant results when searching through thousands of songs
- Audio and data CD/DVD support via USB drives — to play compact discs as well as USB media

- Multi—column lists — view track, artist, time and other information at a glance.
- Repeat play mode — in addition to the single and continuous modes
- Increased pitch display resolution — now pitch adjustments can be visually adjusted by as little as 1/100th of a percent
- The NEW Librarian v1.50 Mac/PC music database management software uses a simpler interface but also adds BPM calculations and letter-picker indexing via the advanced options
