01V Tools 1.0 for MacOS Released
August 24, 1999
Zeep.com has released 01V Tools, available for download and purchase now.
01V Tools is a MacOS software to expand and manage the Yamaha
01V Digital Mixer. In a nutshell, 01V Tools provides:
- A Virtual Meter Bridge for all signals--both the internal busses and I/O--providing
the user with a precise graphic audio-level display from the Mac's monitor (the
01V does not have a meter bridge)
- A comprehensive Mixer Overview that allows the user to easily view and change
from the computer monitor the current state of all of the 01V's digital mixing
parameters
- A complete Archiver that enables the user to quickly backup to the Mac complete
scenes and/or specific file types, such as EQ, Dynamics, Effects, Setup, etc.,
and restore them to the 01V (or to send them to a different 01V)
- A complete virtual implementation of an 01V that permits thorough offline
scene visualizing and editing.
Priced at $195 USD, 01V Tools is a complement to Yamaha's greatest small board,
which offers similar audio and DSP specs as the O2R and makes a great "effects
sub" in the larger studio environment or as simply a stand-alone unit for
any small to mid-size audio application.
