Yorkville Ships AP6040 Amplifier

Yorkville is happy to announce the shipment of the first production
run of AP6040 power amplifiers, Yorkville's most powerful amplifier yet. Pursuing
the quest for more affordable high power amplifiers, the latest addition to the
Audiopro line, the AP6040, has created a new price point in the high power amplifier
market. The AP6040 includes all the features required by audio professionals in
a rugged cost-effective package. With 2000 watts per channel at 4 ohms, the AP6040
is a perfect solution for subwoofer applications such as a pair of two to four
large format subwoofers per amplifier.
The high headroom, three rack space AP6040 incorporates the same great features
found on the existing AP-Series power amplifiers including "Ultra-Quiet"
front-to-back fan cooling, high pass filter, advanced protection circuitry, defeatable
limiter and a stereo/mono/bridge switch. With both XLR and balanced inputs, and
Speakon and binding post outputs, the AP6040 will easily handle any high-output
audio application.
As with all Audiopro power amplifiers, the AP6040 comes with Yorkville's standard
two year (EVEN IF YOU BREAK IT!) transferable warranty (valid in U.S. and Canada
only) and is distributed, exclusively in North America, by Yorkville Sound.
