SpinAudio Updated VST SkinRack to Version 1.1"New life for editorless VST Plugins"

August 29, 2000SpinAudio Software, a developer of professional audio
processing plugins and utilities for the music industry released version 1.1 of
VST SkinRack.
New version features are completely based on customers feedback we have
received since we released the product in May.
The two most interesting enhancements are plugin parameters automation
through MIDI and vertical sliders support.
Now it's possible to control every SkinRacked plugin parameter through midi
input device installed in your system. These can be external keyboards knobs,
special midi controllers like PhatBoy or midi sequencer passing data through
any of midi loop-back programs such as Hubi's MidiLoopBack, MidiYoke, Sonic
Foundry's Midi Router.
Another significant enhancement is the vertical sliders support. They
perfectly suit for creation of such interfaces as graphic equalizers.
What's new in version 1.1:
- Plugin parameters can be controlled through MIDI
- Two new skin types: Vertical sliders and Knobs with value displays
- Enhanced options for parameters layout
- Wizard now stores the last browsed path to plugin directory
- Sliders and knobs can be controlled by mouse wheel with an
adjustable step size
- Pocket Presets
- Background dragging option can be switched off to prevent host
window from accident moving in applications such as SAW and Acid
- Lower controls priority class option to prevent host application from
drop-outs on parameters change
VST SkinRack 1.1 comes with 14 new skins totaling 28 skins included and more
than ten additional skins developed by independent designers are available
on SpinAudio web site for immediate download.

Pentium 100, 32 Mb of RAM, Video adapter that supports running in high color
mode. 3Mb of free hard disk space.
