June 11, 2000SpinAudio Software has released Lite versions of its
products RoomVerb and SpinDelay.
These versions are designed with an easy-to-use
preset-based interface with a small number of control parameters while keeping the same sound of pro versions.
Unlike separate tuning of room's dimensions and distance in Pro version of
RoomVerb, Lite comes with 17 predefined room configurations that
range from tiny to extra large, including such shapes as
corridors and wells.
RoomVerb Lite uses almost the same reverberation algorithm as in Pro
version, so there is no degradation in sound quality, just a reduced number of plugin parameters. The plugin is shipped with 12 presets.
SpinDelay Lite coming without many features of Pro version however allows
to reproduce most of its effects making the product a good choice for those
who don't need all that variety of routing schemes, delay linking option and
tempo based delay calculator. The plugin is shipped with 10 presets that cover essential delay effects.
System Requirements:
Platform: Intel Pentium, and compatible CPUs
Operating Systems: Windows 95/98/NT/2000
Minimal Configuration:
Pentium (233 - RoomVerb Lite, 100 - SpinDelay Lite), 32 Mb of RAM, Video
adapter that supports running in high color mode. 3Mb of free hard disk
space.
