Morley Introduces Steve Vai Bad Horsie 2 Contour Wah
October 3, 2001
Morley, makers of pedals and switches, has teamed up once again with Steve Vai to produce a new generation of wah pedals. The Bad Horsie 2 Contour wah was designed for players who like the Bad Horsie sound but want the ability to change the wah frequency. The CONTOUR control adjusts the wah from low bassy moans to piercing high squeals and anywhere in between. It also comes equipped with a wah LEVEL control to adjust the output level of the wah mode. The Bad Horsie 2 Contour Wah also has a special "Clear-Tone" buffer circuitry to prevent signal loading and to drive long cables.
Like the Bad Horsie, the Bad Horsie 2 Contour wah is switchless. The wah switching and sweep are controlled via Morley's Electro-Optical circuitry. No mechanical pot or switch means long lasting wah wah wailing.
Designed to be rugged and meet Steve's demanding specifications, the Bad Horsie 2 Contour Wah is housed in a heavy-duty metal chassis. Equipped with dual LED indication and easy access battery compartment, it comes with Morley's two-year warranty and retails for $209.00.
Available November 2001.
