May 2, 2001M.I.T. (Music Interface Technologies) announces their new Professional Audio/Studio and Hardwire lines of
high performance cables for recording and live audio applications. The line of
products includes microphone, digital, speaker and audio component interfaces featuring unique performance
technologies, along with two IEC-type (removable) double shielded filtered power cords.
The Professional Audio Series cables are constructed using premium materials and patented MIT passive networks, designed to improve signal efficiency and preserve accurate phase and time relationships of the signal as it flows
down the cable.
MIT's Hardware series cables are constructed with a dual dielectric, ultra low
capacitance cable featuring UPOCC conductors (UPOCC casting technology results in a copper crystal length of up
to 125 meters), Switchcraft 280 plugs, and patented the MIT passive networks.
According to the company, these designs result in a cable that improves low-end response,
while offering fatter, more detailed midrange and sweeter top end.

- Speaker Cables (from $119.95 / pair)
-
Audio Interconnects (from $39.95 / pair)
