TC WORKS, TC Electronic's software division, have announced the Mac-Version of the surroundverb
for Steinberg's NUENDO media production system to be shipping.
TC Surroundverb supplies Nuendo users with TC-quality 5.1 reverb, seamlessly integrated into
Steinberg's application. It features a fast and easy to use interface, with graphic displays
visualizing the reverb components, with a powerful algorithm core delivering dense and
convincing studio quality reverbs.
The plug-in provides control over all the key components required for reverb design, from room
shape and size to diffusion and separate controls for early reflections and tail. The reverb
tail supplies three independent bands for low, mid and high with sweepable band crossovers and
an additional EQ stage with low and high shelf filters for ultimate sound flexibility.
The surround sound positioning of a track is already taken care of in Nuendo, so TC
Surroundverb receives the panned signal, thus not requiring a panner of its own. The new style
surround metering allows the user to keep track of the audio's position in the virtual room.
Dry and Wet signal are being displayed in two different colors, providing optimal visual
control over changes in positioning due to the addition of the reverb.
TC Surroundverb exclusively works within Nuendo and future versions of TC WORKS' Spark and will
