Piano Suite Premier utilizes a unique audio-visual feedback method to deliver effective piano lessons. Even if you haven't played before, you can be playing your first piece within hours. A large selection of illustrated music content, animations, voice recordings, games, history of important composers, and selectable instruments are all included.
The Adventus Piano Player engine employs a "learn to sight-read music" method to guide students along. The Beginner method gently guides users to play properly, holding the correct notes the right length of time. Novices are put at ease by a good selection of pieces at their level, large note sizes and clear, constructive feedback. Students can limit practice to sections of the piece they're ready to learn. More advanced evaluation improves timing, adapts automatically to piece difficulty, and provides stored, detailed information. The Personal Profile section tracks this evaluation over time, allowing recall of previous practices. Two years of narrated theory lessons teach all the practical concepts and skills needed to read music at a grade five level. A library of over 500 selections, 10 music genres and 65 licensed, popular pieces are included.
Adventus Piano Suite Premier version 2.6 adds support for Windows Millenium and Windows 2000 Pro, dozens of new pieces to the current 500 piece learn-to-play library, multi-track recording capability, along with lessons, tests, and exams available on-line.
Adaptable to any MIDI keyboard, Piano Suite connects via standard cable to a PC sound card allowing interactive feedback during play. Included now is front-panel sound support for Yamaha, Roland and Technics, providing access to every instrument sound available on these brand-name keyboards.
You can also compose and edit music with the program. Stored in a custom library, compositions can later be printed or uploaded to the web for others to learn and view. Premier version 2.6 allows recording of multi-track pieces i.e. drum, bass, and guitar, that can be imported by the composer in the 'learn to play' section of Piano Suite.
Adventus Piano Suite Premier is now sold as a standalone CD-ROM for $89.95 USD or bundled with an, Italian made FATAR 49-key, velocity sensitive, keyboard ) and a 12' MIDI cable for $179.95 USD.
