Pro Tools FREE 5.01 on CD-ROM Now Available from Digidesign Online Store

Digidesign’s latest web initiative, Pro Tools FREE offers new users a fully functional 8-channel audio and 48 MIDI track capable version of the popular Pro Tools 5.0.1 LE. Pro Tools FREE is a powerful audio recording, editing and mixing software program requiring no additional hardware. Launched late last year as a downloadable product, Pro Tools FREE is now available on CD-ROM from Digidesign’s online store at http://store.digidesign.com. As the name implies, Pro Tools FREE is offered as a free product, with customers charged a nominal shipping and handling fee of $9.95 (USD) regardless of ship-to local. The CD-ROM also includes several RTAS and AudioSuite plug-in demos.
Digidesign Pro Tools FREE software is a great starting point for music, education, multimedia, film, video or radio production. First time users will be able to step into the non-linear, instant access recording, editing and mixing of Digidesign’s Pro Tools.
Pro Tools FREE is also an extremely portable solution for the audio professional.
