October 10, 2001

The SIENA box is a 19" rackmount interface, designed to easily connect to the SIENA audio I/O card, but also capable of working with cards from Emagic and Echo to name a few, with an optional adapter.

Up to four microphones and four line inputs can be connected to the front side of the SIENA breakout box. Each microphone input has its own independent 48V phantom power switch and the second line input can also be used as a phono pre-amp. All inputs are adjustable, and the line inputs have -20 dB switches.

On the rear of the unit are eight balanced 1/4" outputs plus a stereo mix out that internally mixes down all outputs to one stereo out - useful for multi-track recording applications with no need for an external mixer. The same signal is available for both headphone outputs on the front.
