New White Ash Djembe from Meinl

Meinl Percussion introduces new wood djembe model made from American White Ash (Fraxinus americana L.).
Only the finest select American White Ash (Fraxinus americana L.) is used for this new Meinl Djembe. The sizes are 12" in diameter in 23" in height. It is equipped with the patented Floatune Tuning System, which makes drilling holes into the shell unnecessary.
Two plies of solid wood form each stave, which are then glued together in a barrel-like fashion in order to achieve stability. The exclusive gold-tone finished hardware used on this drum is in perfect harmony with the spiral grain of the lacquered shell.
Hand-selected True-Skin Goat heads are used with this beautiful instrument and the rounded SSR-rim increases player comfort.
