December 12, 2002Line 6 has debuted the AM4, its first amplifier
modeler pedal designed to
deliver a wide range of amp tones in a programmable, pro-quality stompbox
package.
AM4 features 16 models of classic and legendary amps, including models based on the
'53 Fender Deluxe, '67 Vox AC-30, '65 Marshall JTM-45, and the Mesa/Boogie Dual
Rectifier among others. Line 6's new pedal also includes four programmable presets,
true bypass switching and Expression Pedal Input for real time control of all tone
settings.
AM4 also delivers programmability. AM4 expands a single channel amp and provides
significant distortion power. It eliminates the need for multiple amps to have multiple
settings. Bass, Middle and Treble controls enable users to dial in the perfect sound. With
its rugged, neo-retro look, this die-cast aluminum pedal is certainly made for the
performing musician. The mono input and output and 6 'ready-to-rock ' knobs makes this
pedal user friendly by providing the professional and amateur guitarist with easy access
to all of the features of AM4.
