SpinAudio announced a release of ASIO FX Processor 1.1. The new version adds VST instruments support and has also some interface improvements.
ASIO FX Processor is a VST 2.0 and ASIO 2.0 host combined in a standalone application that works as a real-time multi-effects processor and can be used for playing VST instruments.
With this update ASIO FX Processor can be used to play live VST instruments such as Steinberg Halion, Native Instruments Pro-51, Waldorf PPG Wave and many more without any other software. Thanks to ASIO, today professional audio cards are capable of streaming audio with a very low latency down to a few milliseconds allowing thus a real-time performance.
New features:
- VST 2.0 support
- VST instruments support
- MIDI Program Change to preset switch mapping
- New faster plugin interface switching scheme
- No audio input mode for VST instruments
- Dynamic window resizing handling
ASIO FX Processor 1.1 can be purchased in the SpinAudio OnLine Shop. The new version price is 50 USD. Registered product users can update to the version 1.1 for free. Free demo version is available for downloading.
