Bartolini Pickups and Electronics has announced 3 new
additions to their product
catalog:
PBF guitar humbuckers - The tone of the PBF series humbuckers is a
distillation of the best
features of Vintage Humbucker tone. The highs are more focused, the lows
are clearer, the
string balance is accurately calibrated, the output level is higher and
they are cast in epoxy to
remove unwanted feedback and microphonics. The tonal range extends from
the PBF-47
(brightest neck) to the PBF-77 (power distortion bridge). They are
available in Nickel plated and
Gold plated covers.
ZBS guitar humbuckers and single coils - The tone of the ZBS series
pickups is designed for
maximum cut-through power and definition while retaining ultimately
musical content. The tonal
range extends from the ZBS-50 (brightest neck) to the ZBS-80 (power
distortion). For reference,
the ZBS-75 has the tone of P-90 single coils at twice the power
level and without the
noise. All are cast in epoxy to remove unwanted feedback
and microphonics. The
humbuckers are available in Nickel plated and Gold plated covers and
also in Black or White
ABS shells for maximum resonance. The ZBSC-60 single coils are available
only in Black or
White ABS shells.
"Classic Bass" CB series bass pickups - These new designs feature an
extended and more resonant
frequency range. They have far more "air" and definition at the top
without sacrificing lows
and low mids. They are cast in epoxy to remove unwanted feedback and
microphonics. They are
available as dual coil humbuckers in the wider soapbar shapes and as
dual in-line humbuckers
in the narrower shapes.
