VST-DX Adapter is a utility which allows you to use any PC VST plugin in
any DX-compatible host application, such as Cakewalk Sonar and Pro Audio,
Sonic Foundry Sound Forge, Acid and Vegas, Sek'D Samplitude and
Syntrillium Cool Edit Pro. It also allows you to use VST instruments in any DXi
compatible application such as Cakewalk Sonar and Home Studio 2002.
VST-DX Adapter v4.0 provides a seamless integration with your host
application, allowing you to use your VST plugins exactly as if they were DirectX.
New features in this version include:
- Full support for the Cakewalk DXi2 spec
- Sample-accurate timing
- Supports multiple outputs in VST instruments where available
- Full support for new VST instruments such as ImageLine FruityLoops VST, Spectrasonics Stylus, Steinberg Virtual Guitarist and Native Instruments Absynth
- Improved support for Universal Audio UAD-1 DSP board
