Two new effects processors are now available for the
CreamWare DSP platform: The Vintage Compressor Vinco and the reverb
processor MasterVerb Pro.
Vinco is a high-end compressor / limiter designed to emulate the sound of analog studio
classics. During its development, no conventional compressor algorithms
were used. Instead, with the utmost care and precision, love of detail, and
the best measurement instruments, actual high-end hardware was emulated in
code. Thanks to this elaborate 'Circuit Modelling' technique, Vinco
emulates the most popular,
highest-quality, analog compressors and sets a new sound standard for
software plug-ins. Its warm and punchy sound makes Vinco an ideal tool to
improve either individual tracks or an entire mix.
The algorithm of the
MasterVerb has been revised and refined for the Pro version. Features such
as early reflections based on the source-image method and
adjustable reverb color and width controls provide for more
realistic impressions of space. Intuitive controls like the X/Y control for
simultaneous adjustment of reverb time and room size, make working with the
reverb processor very fast and satisfying. Furthermore, the MasterVerb Pro
features 32-bit live processing, unlimited reverb time and a very dense,
natural sound.
Both DSP plug-ins are now available in the CreamWare Online Shop and at
CreamWare dealers worldwide. The list price is 198 Euro each. Free demo

plug-ins run on the CreamWare DSP systems Luna, PowerSampler, Pulsar,
Pulsar XTC and SCOPE /SP.
