The latest work by MultiLoops, Rock Vol. 2 -- Ultimate Rock, contains over
8.2GB, on 19 cd-roms, of grooves, fills and single hit samples played by
Nashville session and touring drummer Brett Clark. The set contains 975
loops with 13 individual mixable tracks for each loop, fill, and single hit
sample. The included tracks consist of: Snare Top, Snare Bottom, Kick
Beater, Kick Front, Hi Hat, Ride, Tom1, Tom 2, Tom3, Stereo Overheads, and
Stereo Room. With Ultimate Rock you have more mixing and groove choices
than in previous volumes. One of the special features of this title are the
included "room" tracks which allow you to add natural ambiance to dial in
that classic "John Bonham" sound. The price for this volume is $199.95.
MultiLoops also announced that each of their previous titles is
now available at a new lower price. Rock Vol 1. -- The Essentials, Pop R&B,
as well as Odd-Time Grooves are now available for $99.95.
Each of the four titles contains unmixed, edited loops, fills and single
hits that are beatmapped for ease of use. Naked Drums is available
in, 24-bit Sound Designer II (Mac) and 24-bit .WAV (Windows and Mac)
formats. Included on each title are tempo mapped session documents for
Digidesign's Pro Tools software. Pro Tools LE and TDM users can open up
these sessions and begin working immediately to the Pro Tools tempo grid.
For other software, such as Digital Performer, Logic, Cubase, and Cakewalk,
users can import the individual tracks for each loop by navigating the tempo
folders and selecting the audio files. Sonar and ACID users can also import
the loops from the first three titles and make tempo changes in real time.
