Marcato Percussion has developed an all-new rack
system based on carbon fiber technology.
These Braided
Vibration Dampening Rack Systems are specifically designed to provide the active percussionist with a lightweight and durable alternative to steel rack systems.
BVD Racks are 1.50" diameter thin-wall carbon fiber tubes, which incorporate a unique braided structure that serves to reduce, and virtually eliminate the problem of sympathetic vibration between hardware. Marcato BVD rack tubes are molded in a proprietary process, which makes a very strong, extremely lightweight part. This new composite process also makes carbon fiber stiffness, and quality, more affordable for the average percussionist.
BVD racks are available in several standard configurations, complete with
Gibraltar Road Series hardware, and are also available as tube replacement
parts for existing 1.50" steel rack tubes.
