Johnson has introduced the new Delta Rose hollowbody.
The Delta Rose features a spruce top for resonance, and mahogany back and sides for added sonority and durability. These select woods, along with the punchy humbuckers, give this guitar a deeper, meatier tone. The set-in maple neck adds to this guitar's sound.
The combination of the tonewoods, along with the dual humbuckers, gives the Delta Rose the ability to go from a soft purr to a full growl. Adding more of a custom look to this hollowbody are an inlaid fretboard, multi-ply body binding and a trapeze-style tailpiece. The Delta Rose also features diecast chrome tuners to reduce string slippage, and a tune-o-matic bridge to maintain tonal integrity.
The new Johnson Delta Rose is available in vintage sunburst and luminous wineburst finishes, and has a list price of $279.
